Different types of foods digest at different rates. When several foods are eaten that digests at different rate digestion gets imbalanced leaving you with low energy, fatigue and poor sleep.

Fruits don’t combine well with other foods. So if fruits are eaten immediately after a meal, the fruit sugar will stay for too long in the stomach and ferment causing indigestion and gas. Eat fruits in the morning. The live enzymes in fruit boost energy in the body and aid digestion. Their high water content helps wash many toxins and impurities out of the system.

   Food is essential for our well being. A nutritious and wholesome meal provides us with energy and essential elements. Our digestive enzymes have an appropriate bio-chemical structure to digest specific elements of the food. There are different enzymes in saliva, stomach and small intestine that are specific to digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, starch and fat

This sludge turns into stored toxins. And, when body can’t digest food properly it misses out on being able to absorb the nutrients in food leaving with low energy, fatigue and poor sleep.

It takes a certain kind of enzyme to digest proteins (milk), and a completely different enzyme to digest citrus. The body gets confused and the digestion process is slowed and causes the milk to curdle in the stomach. This causes gas and bloating, and constipation or diarrhoea, heart burn and an acidic or sour taste in the mouth.
